Could you kindly direct me to the posts I've made you consider to be "tripe" and "bluster made up from second hand conversations" please, if you stand by the accusation?
The edit was because I initially misread (small screen, early morning etc ) your "critique" as being from Victor, who my longer post quoted. Sorry to report nobody has 'got on my case', I simply decided to enquire of you directly.
Victor did make a good point though, slanging matches are immature. So too is sniping at other posters on a personal level simply because they disagree with how you see things.
"Have a think about that, before engaging your keyboard."
    You're welcome.

Some good pics being shown elsewhere, with sample pages from the book, with the complete works in front of boiler etc.., so looks like it RalphW.

After the work completed, where better to get an idea of the full workings.

Think quite a few of us might be struggling to satisfy those rules but I'll try my best. Sorry to have spoiled your enjoyment.

So do the rest of us, but we're aware that this is the internet, where personal clashes from outside can sometimes impinge. If you want to avoid the occasional digression, stick to magazines.

Yes, that's the general idea! And it would be good to get back to that if a handful of folk could have their personal exchanges through the 'Conversation' route rather than on here.

Meanwhile, looking at the provisional times for the press/publicity trip to York on Feb 25th, it doesn't appear FS leaves at the same time as any other Virgin service so perhaps the idea of synchronised departures was never on the cards or was just too difficult. However, who can tell what might actually happen.
(Edit: I see that prov times have disappeared from RTT. Would be surprised if VIPs were interested in a 0740 start from KX. More thinking required possibly?)

So the 25th Feb is the "Inaugural Run" then - is this absolutely confirmed?

Does anyone have any idea when tickets are going on sale...?

It's like Africa in this thread.

    Field full of grazing deer.
Tiger looks for an easy target.
    Tiger bites deer.
    Deer squeals.
Gamekeeper comes along and shoots the deer, because Deer are expendable.

So Nat pres politics over all eyes down for the test run.

Its actually really good that Ian Riley posts on here again. Getting facts from the horses mouth as opposed to paint froth and dirty washing being hung out to dry for all to see are neither interesting or positive and do not encourage people to get out there and get involved.

Neigh that I am calling Ian a horse of course...
