    No I do not currently volunteer
    I've seen lots of pre nationalisation bridge plates from the different companies, but I'm wondering what GWR used for their bridge identification. I've no idea if they used cast plates or painted numbers or codes. Does anyone know the answer to this question that's been puzzling me!!
