    Morning all

this was posted on Facebook last night

    upload_2022-7-19_9-10-38.png

posted with the following " we were wild swimming just outside of Ashbourne in Derbyshire and my boyfriend threw the ball to far and it ended up on the other side of the river bank in some shrubs and one of my friends found it there whilst trying to locate the ball "

I can't imaging it has been there since the 60's and if it had i'd expect more corrosion than seems evident

is it a replica ? is a stolen plate thats been dumped ?

    Something smells fishy to me

also before you all google , KS4382/1927 is a 4F

Measure the distance between the centers of the two holes. If not an exact distance in inches, it is most likely a replica made using the original is a pattern.
I would also like to see the reverse. Is it flat or recessed?
