46115 & 48151 have been seen on the triangle at York also reported on wnxx site the NRM 47 went through the station towing Fairburn tank and another steam loco i don't know the direction of travel

 

48151 & 46115 departed Carnforth @ 10.02, 15 early, to an LMS Weekend somewhere. wobbly vid:-

Obviously this means 46115 has been repaired after it "bent a valve spindle"? a while back.

 

Any news on 70013 problems? Was going to bunk off work early to video the move going down the Calder Valley.

Regarding 70013 had a look on 5305 website and it reads like an issue arose on the return DCE I could assume it must be that if she is still at Southall

 

Passed a low loader with loco on the M1 @ Leeds about one hour ago going north. Only caught the back of it as I was going south and traffic was heavy. Looked to be a 2-6-2 standard........was it heading for York?

 

Think that confirms my observation at Keighley........I think the 8F was doing all the work...

 

Tangmere just left Carnforth southbound at 10.00 am. took me by surprise. 46115 should be leaving York right now.

I hadn't switched on PC that early, got text from mate at Carnforth @ 09.40,

UPDATE: passed Acton Bridge 11.38.

ALSO: Preston station closed for bomb alert.

 

Any news on 46201 move from York to tyseley today? Is she on time? Hoping to see at Toton centre? Updates would be appreciated?

 

It was roughly on time passing me at Bolton Percy.

Oh well yes, thanks Chris, I second that, I suppose it does sound like a slap in the face, but, I really do appreciate Davids efforts in keeping us informed as to whats going on. no doubt about that. it was just that I had been woken up by a text and dithered so much I got to the station just seconds after hearing it whistleing from 50 yds away and missed it, i would have got a video like this one:-

45231 (I think) passed through Hellifield on Clitheroe line at about 10am, engine plus 4 or 5 coaches, caught me by surprise whilst in the kitchen, nothing on uksteam

 

4936 Kinlet Hall was an hour early approaching Water Orton on its journey back to Tyseley.
