    was speaking to some of their lads at barrow hill today and from what i gather think it may have taken a back seat while the bone gets sorted. our groups steam loco would sit well with them as it worked with mgr's at clipstone colliery as did the 56's 20's 37's 47's which we have at barrow hill. perfect home for them really.

    Isn't the prototype (or something similar) MGR wagon at the NRM Shildon? Not exactly a whole train but its a start! :p

    350001 ended up at Bo'ness.

    The final-built MGR 368459 was recently available from Railwaya auctions (closing date end of Novemeber). It sold for £4k, but I don't know whether this was for preservation or scrap.
