This feels like a mammoth task, but I'm trying every possible avenue.

Fife Heritage Railway have recently confirmed their commitment to the long term overhaul of a 16" Barclay. A mammoth task for a railway of it's size and considering the boiler condition and parts required. It'll take a long while to gain the funds.

One of these parts required is a set of backhead injectors. Knowing these were few and far between (even more so now), I'm trying all possible avenues to get my hands on a set or at least the drawings in order to have a set made.

If anyone has any leads, info, a set in their shed (wishful thinking). Or just a nudge in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate.

    Thanks in advance!

There are probably quite few spare backhead injectors (I assume that you mean combination injectors, looking at the pads) around. The problem, as always, will be getting people to part with them as they are considered to be valuable spares and as they are handed, you really need two to provide that spare capacity. What size are you looking for? 7 or 8mm? South Coast steam can probably make you a pair of G & C ones and Metcalfe Engineering the D & M equivalent. They won't be cheap bits, though. An alternative would be to fit combination clacks and a conventional injector, such as Penberthy.

Have you tried Ribble Steam Railway ? This heritage line not only has Barclays on display and at work but has a workshop facility that might be able to manufacture items.

I'm not certain on the size required as I'm not completely mechanically minded, relying on the advice of an engineering team that don't know the rear end of a keyboard, hence my enquiry haha.

That could be a good shout actually! Tanfield is also on my hit list but I believe a lot of their stored stock is privately owned.
