I got fed up with searching the web for up to date information about rovers and day rangers only to find either the cumbersome national rail web site or sites with information that were out of date so I did my own!
I hope you find it useful and it will be kept as up to date as possible.

    cheers,

Thanks for the kind comments gents, glad you found it useful.
And you're correct Ralph, it did take quite some time. It started off as something quite simple and just snowballed! If I'd have known there were so many I probably wouldn't have started it! That's probably why other sites detailing rovers and rangers never get updated.

Perhaps it might be useful for there to an overview header setting out the disgraceful limitations applied by the bigger TOCs preventing use out of some major stations before 10.00 a.m.

For the national tourer that really makes a difference

    Thanks for the comment.
I assume you are referring to the All Line Rover?
The "disgraceful" limitations are clearly listed on the ALR page in red, I don't think there's any need to list them elsewhere.

Thanks for the info, I was aware of the System One cards.
There's already three GMPTE rangers listed and adding the System One options I thought would confuse everything so I placed a link to it instead so that anyone wanting more options can take a look.

I haven't given it any thought to be honest, I wonder how much interest there would be?
It'll take a bit of research but I'll bear it in mind for the future - perhaps southern Ireland too?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

The website be updated for the summer in the next few days.

Just a heads up for anyone interested. Barry Doe's annual rail rover revue in his "Faredealer" column in Rail will feature in issue 694 (out around 18th April). He's promised to give my website a plug - looks like I've hit the big time!

    best wishes,
    Kev

True. It doesn't help that when looking at an alphabetical list, some Rovers don't have logical names.
Devon comes under D whereas Cornwall comes under R (Ride Cornwall) which is a very good value ticket. £10 for unlimited train & bus travel West of Plymouth.
South Wales comes under E (Explore South Wales) £69 for four days unlimited travel West of Newport.
South Central offer a good value ticket for their network, but on the NR website, it's not mentioned in the alphabetical list, but you find out by lookin at the "Offers by TOC" page.
