I wasn't sure I'd like to she her in experimental green, but the more I look, the more I'm convinced I like it after all!

 

Reminds me of photographs showing Blue Peter in the 1980's when it was painted in LNER green, especially without the smokebox numberplate.

She doesn't look half bad in Green! I too thought I couldn't get used to it - I liked the Grey colour! It did set her apart from other locos! But a good job! Seems like she is doing very well indeed...

Apart from that strange thought that is a stunning picture. Can't wait to see it with a few teaks behind it.

Yes I know that's what it looks like, but the two together are taken from a pedestrian crossing / AWR, and the top one is from the fenceline, well what's left of the fence as the local scratters have had most of the fence away.

....and I've used a long telephoto lens. But thanks for your concern

 

It is an illusion, they were taken from the same place as THIS, it's a foot crossing near Garforth.
I cloned out the grey box on mine though. ;-)
