    Electric, vacuum or hand-operated??

I'm sure the local kids would have fun on it, given half the chance?

That streetview image seems to date from 2016 which would have been the time when it had recently been installed - hence the brickwork still under construction. I used to pass it several times a day, driving a bus, but never actually saw it being used.
My guess is that it is manual, like the BCT trolleybus one in Christchurch.

Incidentally, I don't think the turntable at Burg, on the Solingen trolleybus network in Germany has been mentioned on this thread. It is electrically operated and was used regularly up to a few years back until new articulated vehicles with off-wire capability were obtained and route 683 was extended further into the village. There also used to be a severe weight restriction on an adjacent bridge which is why the turntable was built in the first place.
The turntable is still there and is used occasionally when one of their preserved vehicles is used on that route.
This photo dates from 2007 when it was still in regular use....

There is one under the back of the Ryde branch of Nat West, visible from the road, that seems/ed to feed tight underground parking bays.

Just spoke to an acquaintance about this, who works in the complex. Apparently it was removed during the recent redesign of the building.

Although, while double-checking the name of the pub in the building (The Phoenix, a sticky-floors-and-snakebite student joint) I did find this photo of the turntable: http://www.mancky.co.uk/?attachment_id=7312

There's one outside Shrewsbury library as well: <google streetview>

Certainly with that one, if you drive onto it off-centre with sufficient speed and then hit the brakes when you're on it, the momentum will carry the vehicle around such that you can then drive straight off again without needing to get out and push :) ...unless you misjudge and travel on too slow, in which case it doesn't carry you all the way around. lol

There used to be one in the Arndale centre, (subsiquently re-named) in Poole.
