    No I do not currently volunteer
    I am a member of the Poulton and Wyre Railway Society and we have been restoring the line that runs from Poulton, near Blackpool, to Fleetwood. We have restored the old stations at Thornton and Burn Naze, and we have a Fowler 0-4-0 diesel shunter which is currently being refurbished. We are still awaiting permission for running rolling stock on the track, but the further we progress towards Fleetwood means a great deal of footslogging along the track with a small unpowered flat trailer. We could really do with a Wickham trolley to assist us OAP's move stuff about. If anyone knows of one for sale in reasonable order please get in touch. We have limited funds so a possible private purchase by one of the members (me) might be required. Many thanks, Neville Ayrton
