I have a liking for the Brits and with Ollie going out of service at the end of the year the chance to do a day's charter on the GC was a must.
it was the TPO train in the morning and passenger stock in the afternoon. The East Anglian was an important Liverpool St - Norwich service starting in 1937 for which two B17s were streamlined A4 style. 70013 was a Norwich engine so no doubt would have worked it on quite a few occasions.
Three charters on the bounce all in full sun, the weather gods will no doubt be taking their revenge soon!

Thanks John, yes you should! When the weather is like that you can't go wrong, if you look back at the posts on the L&B and the Isle of Wight you will see what I mean about being lucky. I'm off to Fort William the week after next so I will probably get a soaking up there
