    Does anybody know what projects in regards to steam locomotives are happening?
    Have any steam locomotives come in for Overhaul/Repair?
    An update on 6100 Royal Scot would be nice but not necessary.

    The bits of 6100 stored outside have not moved for some time which would indicate slow if any progress...

    When I was at Crewe for there gala, 6100's frames were now in the workshops with the boiler still on the same place. Makes a change from it facing the elements in the Crewe dead engine row!

    Actually I think you'll find that of the locos in "dead engine row" 47192 and 87035 are by and large fully operational just trapped in by demic imovable kettles!
