D1023 NYMR Failure

    The Railway Herald says that D1023 failed at the NYMR on 20th September.
    Does anybody know what the cause of the failure was?

    Not 100% sure of the terminology, but I understand it was the equivalent of unable to engage gear, i,e trying to take power in neutral?
