Don’t think so. NR have supplied RTC with dep/arr times issued with e ticket, times are similar/identical with those used for Citadel and FS Xmas Dalesman, NR are only running a skeleton service or no service - why worry?

 

It shall be interesting to see what locomotive is going to be selected for Saturday even though Leander is expected by some at the moment.

 

I would reckon 45699 or one of Ian Rileys 5mt,s if 45690 is out for maintenance for now.

 

Narrowing the potential 4 options down to 2. Train load RTC trains are 12 or less passenger cars. 45690 with 11 or less carriages, 35018 if it is 12. Reasonable?

 

Excellent if its 35018 on the C.M.E.

I drove past Carnforth earlier and believe I saw the consist waiting to depart. *I think* Lindsay was on the back, but facing east - not seen that running for a bit, should make a racket up the long drag. Also seemed to have been repainted into BR green (late crest) - looked superb. Assuming my eyes weren't deceiving me, of course.
