There seems to be a problem with clicking on page content, thumbnails, banners ect with the new Internet Explorer9 Beta, they just dont open up. I thought at first that this was because some pictures could not be expanded, however using Google Chrome they work fine.

I realise that with Beta software sometimes things dont work as they should, but if joe public use the new I.E they may not get to the content that they could access before.

Does anyone know how to contact the web team, to make them aware of this current problem, if they dont already know about it?.

So far it is the only site i have come across that has this problem.

There have been a few problems lately. I sent some pictures for use on the site but they would not work so had to send them again. They seem to be okay now.

Been broken since at least Friday - the other news pages also seem to be affected.

Still down, I have sent them an email to the web team. Even that was not straight forward, had to put one of those stupid unreadable codes in.

Looks like it's done the trick. Good to see the U Boat's tender reunited. What a cracking job that has been done on it.

Had a reply from the MHR this morning.

    Hello
This should now be resolved. If it continues, it will be a caching issue. If you press CTRL and F5, that should clear it.
Please let me know if not.
    Kind regards

Out of interest I just re-read the very first comment that started this thread. I think the website has come a long way and is now superior to Tony Wood's professional but very personal and idiosyncratic site which preceded it. I very much like the active participation of the bloggers from different teams and departments, which if nothing else shows how much other creative input was waiting for the chance to be seen and heard. If that can be regarded as the "soul" of the site then I for one am glad of it.
Hats off to the team at MHR.

    Seconded!
I always look forward to reading the latest news stories and blogs from the various groups. Not only are they informative, but it shows that the railway is not standing still and gives you an idea how much work is going on there (and Eastleigh!).

Agreed and as the starter of this thread, i would now like to say that i feel the website now offers much more than the old site run by Tony Wood, not taking anything away from that guys efforts in the past.

I am pleased that the new web team have not thrown the baby out with the bathwater and the blogs from all over the railway offer more info, than was present in the past.

    Anyway. Well done MHR webteam!
