    Waiting for the Right Away
    I was very sorry to hear that Stuart Smith has passed away. A professional railwayman, he had a long association with the Midland Railway Trust and Peak Rail, and was involved with the Ivatt Diesel Recreation Trust recently.

    He also organised popular walks through the Peak Line tunnels in the days before they were opened up to the public and the photo was taken at Great Longstone on such a walk in April 2009.

    He will be sorely missed.
