    class 45 45132 / D22 has been undergoing restoration at the Epping Ongar for a few years now. I’ll gather a full report at some point but some may be aware she was started up earlier in the year. She moved under power at the April Diesel Gala, and had various testing afterwards. Unfortunately the generator was found to be needing to be sent away, and was recently lifted out.

    The group and owner are also looking for 12LDA head studs for the engine - if anyone has any, know of where to find some or possibly even make them(!) please let me know and I shall pass on the details.

    Didn't it have main gen problems when it was at the Mid Hants? Has it already been repaired once?
