I'm just about convinced: partly by the cat and partly by the way the viewpoint moves. The sky implies very early morning, which explains the absence of shadows and people, and the sparse traffic on the roads.
But if this is the real scene shot by quadcopter/gopro, how is such total absence of shaking achieved? Even videos on here shot with tripods aren't always as steady as that one.
To return to the proper subject of this thread, noteworthy is that the cosmetic restoration hasn't included all the valve gear. Most of it is there, but not the combination levers.

The mounts used in copters are advancing spectacularly - see the Movi hand held stabilising rig for tech which was adapted from these, its incredible.
The fisheye, fixed zoom lens on the gopro lends itself to this use and extreme sports in general. You do get shake, but it's much harder to notice as it takes place right at the edges of frame. We've done lots of filming with gopros mounted to vehicles and they are very good at what they do, even mounted to a rattly old land rover it was silky smooth!
Look at the video on the user's channel where he's flying the copter alongside his friend's car, then bumps it down on the road.

I have the same problem with both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I muttered about it recently on another thread, where other people reported no problems.

I have found two workarounds. One is to pretend that you want to reply to the posting, whereupon the quoted text includes the YouTube reference code, which you can copy and paste into YouTube's search box. The other (in Firefox: I can't answer for any other browser) is to right click anywhere in the page and select "View Page Source", then search there for some relevant text, near which will be the actual URL.

But I'd like to know why some of us have problems and others don't.

I watched it using firefox without a problem. Sorry, can't suggest a solution to your problem. Did anyone else notice that the 70414 in the first movie was RHD but in the second it was LHD. I thought all the 8f's built for the WD were RHD so the other must be an ex LMS one requisitioned. 'Must go have a look in Tourret's books! Ray.

Looks like new sheeting on the boiler, nice restoration job all round, compared to what they received, they've done good.

But is it me but where have the rivets off the tender gone (the tender they got was a riveted one) ?

Appropriate timing but it appears the other one to migrate home from Turkey is now also up for sale… anyone want to buy TCDD 45170 ? - kind of suggests bringing them from Turkey isn't really as good as made out.

At best you could masquerade as it.
Does its frames still exist ?

I recently changed from IE ,where I could watch the link by clicking the pesky box that comes up when you first open the thread (and don't know there will be a link) to Chrome, where I can't see it at all.
I Only have this problem on NP.Being as it's more than one browser giving trouble suggests it's an unresolved NP problem.

I thought it had been reported that the frames of 8F 48518 had been scrapped.

If TCDD 45170 is essentially complete, but totally worn out, it nevertheless is a better prospect for someone with deep pockets than say a stripped ex-Barry loco.

Correct; there were two locomotives on board the Thistlegorm, both seem to have been heavily damaged during the bombing, to the point where only the front end of each one is in evidence.

Removing the logos might be a bit tricky and expensive. Why not build a railway where they are now?

A short journey past shoals of fish has probably got to be better than a similar length journey past Bedfordshire's finest shopping trolley and burnt-out car storage zone. Not sure how you'd keep the fire alight though ...

Thought: Would the ORR require a 25mph maximum speed, or limit it to 21.7knots?

I'm sure the ORR will wave the speed restriction.
