I'm not sure if this should go in the miniature section or in here.

I have built a slate waggon from the Reeves plans but it is a combination of wooden frames with an angle iron and flat strip "body".

After looking at the FR steel ones and taking some measurements from the 2 ton ones plinthed opposite the Queens Hotel in Bleanau I think I would prefer to make some all steel ones.

Having seen that there are quite a few people that post on here that are involved with the FR, could any one help me with the some dimensions from a 3 ton waggon as I couldn't get any where near one to measure the length and width of the body plus the wheelbase, as I think that 1/3 scale for 7 1/4", the 3 ton would be a better bet.

    Thanks

I used the 7mm association drawings when I built some in 3 1/2" gauge. http://whr.fotopic.net/p64668429.html Mine are 2ton but the plans have 3 ton waggons. I have used wooden frames, but the dimensions would be appropriate for steel frames.

They should be available from By telephone: 01766 513402
