    Does anyone reading this know where there may be some spare Beclawat compartment sliding door runners, as used in BR Mk 2 stock? The LNERCA has discovered that very simiar units were used in some LNER Thompson stock, notably SK 1623 which is being restored by the LNERCA. When converted for departmental use by BR two compartments were removed, so we need two complete sets of runners and the channel they slide in, as well as spares of the rubber wheels, as ours have perished.     Would any other parts be suitable? As I do not know of any Mk2 compartment stock being broken at the moment. But I have sent a PM with a couple of ideas. Hope this is helpful.

    might be worth giving a company like cargo d or nemesis rail a call. they may have some spares.
