    On this day was born my love of trains....although I was probably more impressed with the Warships and Westerns hammering past a couple of feet away on the down fast!

    At roughly the same time I was being indoctrinated into the love of steam trains, not far away, at Longmoor, but I didn't have a camera :(

    You can get quite a lot of detail back in those photos in PS / PSE.
    I wish I had a camera when I was around the railway as a kid.
