Tarpaulins

Can anyone recommend a supplier of reasonably priced Mk.1 sized tarpaulins?

We require four ASAP to cover our 4TC unit, impregnated canvas is preferable but heavy duty polyurethane would be ok if canvas proves too expensive.

Talk to a commercial vehicle supplier.
They are essentially the same as sheets used on lorries but should be able to make up to required length.
Could also try an Agricultural supplier as well, same reason.

SELG and Spa use Cunningham's based in Northern Ireland who do what Bryan has suggested. Talk to them and they will advise on Material spec. dependent on use and how many eyelets to order etc. Have been very pleased with price, delivery and quality. The 610 gsm industrial grade PVC covers we bought have lasted well for outdoors being swopped between 33065 and 33063 as required.

Also it is a lot easier for handling,tieing down in winds etc if you have say three manageable covers with small overlaps to cover a carriage or loco.
