    Not sure if this is a myth.

    As I understand it - and my memory may not be 100% - and the event was before my time as a volunteer, in any case. (I think that about covers my ****)

    A certain person was asked if something could happen, and the gist of his reply was that there was more chance of "Palmerston" being painted pink. needless to say, that is exactly what happened !

    I wonder if anyone can fill in the gaps eg the date, or has a picture of the result?

    Exactly, it looked good on 35005 too even if technically wrong, and seemingly only 6023 is taking the plunge anytime soon.

    i dont know why i keep thinking it as jubilees never wore it but everytime someone mentions leander i think if it in a really really dark blue almost purpley high gloss colour darker than SNG or CAN PAC just my imagination but i get the feeling it would look superb in that colour. have no idea why but it just comes into my imagination
