As part of a clear up of a deceased friend's estate there are a number of tinplate items to dispose of.
Some items are boxed and very good condition and then there are some that are showing signs of age.
There are two clockwork locos, coaches, wagons. lineside fittings and track, One loco is a Green Bassett Lowke Duke Of York. There is also a Bowman stationary twin cylinder steam plant.

Where would be the best place to advertise these? Ideally like to go as a job lot. Location is Buxton

First off visit E-Bay to get an Idea about what sells for what, clock work track unfortunately will only sell for pennies, the same goes for some items of rolling stock in some cases a good box will be worth more than its contents.
for a better guide to values contact the HRCA http://hrca.net/
they hold a couple of auctions a year and can probable point you in the direction of some reputable dealers, they also have area meetings where you can meet some knowledgeable people who could help, the midland area group meet in Burton upon Trent and there is another group in Nottingham.
hope this is of some help and good luck

Thanks Colin. I'll have a look and see. I'm still in a bit of a shock about losing another friend.
