Loch Katrine

    I couldn't find any thread for the cruises on Loch Katrine with the triple-expansion screw ship 'Sir Walter Scott'. Having done one of the shorter afternoon circular cruises earlier in the year, I finally managed to do the main run from Trossachs to Stronachlachar and rtn today in admittedly pretty rubbish weather. Not surprisingly few passengers were onboard. My video is here:



    I would really recommend taking a cruise onboard if / when you are in the area.

    Thanks for posting this. It brought back memories of visiting the area 60 odd years ago.( :eek:: ! ). There has been some development since but it still looks beautiful and tranquil.
