My point exactly the check rail on cross overs is quite noticably higher on modern "mainline" trackwork and would like as not derail a 9F or at least damage it and the trackwork too

You could add 55 Stepney and 323 Bluebell to that line up.

30072 currently carries Worth Valley ochre livery, albeit as a static exhibit.

Forgot 5521 as L.150, little engines doing good in supporting Met no1.

It has been suggested that a LMS liveried "GW Castle" with LMS fittings would look nice. See the Stanier 4-6-0s

I remember seeing a photoshop mock up somewhere of 5043 in LMS Crimson Lake with LMS tender and fittings but can't remember where.

I quite like the 92214 in BR lined black and recently 92203 was running in unlined black with I think 73129's tender which is lined black with early crest but do prefer 92220's liviery.

92214 looks great named and in black! Great engines but they lack the glamour and can't fault the owner for doing this to her. Well done . .

Now if I had one it'd get some red paint splashed on it! Ie - http://www.flickr.com/photos/cleever/182602181/

We thought they were glamorous enough charging along at 70 mph on a summer excursion or just a bit slower with what seemed an endless train of empty wagons.
