So presumably still sat at Southall, and they'd be cutting it fine for jobs to be done before the 10th, so maybe after? i.e. run LE down to Alton after returning to the Cross...........................................

 

Well the gates were manned at Alton to let Tornado in on Tuesday, looks as though it was held up?

The trip on the 10th has been postponed according to the A1 Steam Trust website.

 

Yep, I got a postponement letter today.

 

Fair do's, but as yet nothing has been activated on RTT, certainly not up to next Tuesday.

For what ever reason FTR failure, diesel/crew shortage, who knows, she gets there when she gets there!

 

She was on shed this morning out in the open facing london this morning, in what looked to be light steam when I hurtlled past Southall this morning if that helps.

 

Well according to RTT she was due to move today, but its been cancelled - nothing in the system yet for tomorrow and she can't move Sunday as they're playing with the tracks somewhere in the Alton area....... Monday perhaps?

 

Not so - presently at Wembley on the way to MHR

 

Must have been the path that was cancelled, just seen an email from a mate with a n other path from Southall to Alton!

If you looked on RTT There is two timed paths to Alton and the diesel loco from crew FISH7373 81c

 

Isn't that 37901 in your photo. I hear 37901 is also on its way to the MHR to help cover for non steam days and will be staying until next year.

when you look at the timings for first move in RTT which was cancelled it booked to go north London line via south Acton pilot loco is right side when coming out of Southall depot to go that way and second move was via Kensington west London line. FISH7373 81C

 

When was that?
