Absolutely right.. if folks choose to ride behind diesel or battery then good luck to them but not for me.
Surely steam is the appeal of this line? I would not certainly not pay to ride behind it.
Likewise Ive had some superb trips out on the old Great Eastern behind her, a very strong and capable engine.

There was also a fireless loco at Bressingham. The last time I saw it the eccentric rods were bent as no doubt it had been dragged along seized....
