    It was Tinsleys 'pet' loco and one of the first unofficial namings. The livery variations were also fairly early chinks in the corporate image armour.

    I saw this 47 at Gloucester a few weeks back (I guess days before It happened) and was surprised it was parked just east of Plat 1 on the siding, where as everything else was on the siding.

    It must have been coordinated.. theres a brick wall, substantial undergrowth as well as a fence to get through to reach it.. for those who even knew it was there for long enough to attack it.

    And the fact it was the last repaint ever at Tinsley and the final loco to leave,so if one more should be saved then surely it is 145?
