    REPS were banned from running in multiple with anything electric apart from 2HAP , 2 EPB or a single MLV. If in multiple with an electro diesel, that had to be on diesel power or dead in train.
    Under the "infrastructure " heading this item explains the "Conductor Rail Index" and why it existed. From memory a 4REP was 14 on the conductor rail index with a permissible maximum of 16.
