    "Repainted, new handle", rusty with old handle would be much more interesting and suggesting traction engine, with a handle that length. o_O

    Got to agree that after looking at the photo, ‘genuine’ doesn’t seem an appropriate word. It’s a pressed blade which, although not unknown, wasn’t that common. No strap on the handle, either and it’s length seems more appropriate for a garden spade.
