Excellent. I personally have not seen this engine since it was at the WLLR in about 97? Will be good to see it again at statfold! Well done to all involved!

Hey Chris, I too remember the loco at the W&L :) Glad to hear you've got it going.

Have you got any pics of it at work? I know several that would be interested to see them.

    TIA :)

Hi, yes there are some pics available - not fully complete (mainly paint jobs to finish) as of last week.

Do you know of anyone with pics of her at Welshpool?

    Regards

Further update (though for those of you who attended the rather soggy open day at Statfold Barn this will not be news)

The loco ran well (and in beautiful sunshine) on the Friday but as is sometimes the way of things particularly with a newly overhauled loco, she developed a fault after the first run of the 'big day' and was stopped pending examination. Subsequent investigations diagnosed a defective regulator valve (which may have an inherent design fault) which will be rectified quite quickly but stopped the fun on Saturday.

If anyone managed to get any pictures of her early run or some video (particularly coming back up the bank to Oak Tree), I would be most grateful to receive copies, which in due-course can be suitably rewarded! my email addres for this would be: chris.phillimore@tir-ltd.co.uk

    Thanks anyway, regards

I remember this at the W&L, I had a trip behind it on a freight. Any chance of it visiting again and what are the plans for it now that it's got a new 10 yr ticket?

    La Meuse on YouTube

    Hi,

I have just uploaded a short peice of video to You Tube (my first one!) of the loco on test run at Statfold in May. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huY6DX04q_w

The loco will once again be appearing at the Statfold Open day on Saturday 19th. Let us pray for good weather and an absence of gremlins!

I hope to see some of you there!

    Regards
