Well as i have to leave feedback for my christmas present my new B12 has to stay out until i run it, so i took a few snaps of her before she gets tested and put away.

She is seen alongside two Bulleid Merchant Navy loco's, 35005 "Canadian Pacific" in BR Blue and 35028 "Clan Line" in BR green. I should have got my blue A3 and Princess out for a nice BR blue line up. :p

Mine wasnt the set, i got this one on it's own for about £30 on ebay, not a bad buy really, the body has "Hornby Railways" on so i think it's just an improved one. I was suprised to see the tender has the little grinder thing in still to make steam loco noises!

That's gone down in folklore that has, I remember when they first moved to China, the mag reports said they'd sent a B12 out to China with the order 'copy this'. So they did

I think ( I haven't had my B12 out in years) it was a cam on one of the tender axles that had some kind of sand paper on it that rubbed against another piece making some sort of chuff noise

Its only a bit of plastic and sandpaper on a very light weighted tender... loco's performance isn't affected, the original Hornby Railways B12 [which i have in LNER green] does the same.
