I suspect that it is not the standard exhaust arrangement, is she fitted with the Giesel arrangement, the blast is lifting the exhaust much better than the normal Lemaitre original would, and sounds wonderful ?

A close look at a couple of elevated shots would seem to show the standard Bulleid large diameter chimney under all that clag.

Perhaps the internal dimensions have been tweaked. Details on how this might be done have been published...

Does anyone have any idea of when the loaded test is likely to be, normally its quite soon after the Light engine run

Depends on what needs fettling after the test run - and how long it takes to repaint / varnish the loco. I would guess sometime next week at the earliest.

Are you sure about that, I understood the mods seen here at the rear of the tender were for extra water capacity?

Took me a while watching that video to work out if it was travelling forwards or backwards, such is the way of unrebuilt Bulleids…

Correct. 4,000 gallon tender capacity was increased to 5,250 gallons by way of a second tank, as shown. Lost about one ton of coal capacity but there were ways around that.

[Thread drift] Was the coal-pusher added at that point or just restored to working order? IIRC, some of the class had them fitted during their working lives and some didn't. Maybe we should move discussion of 6233's tender to her own thread...

Don't think it looks any different to this (from 21/11/13).
Apart from a general family appearance are any two Bullied tenders the same ?

Someone, no doubt, will prove me wrong but all of the Coronation class had coal pushers fitted from new, so did one Princess Royal, and the Britannia's with 1E type tenders (70045 - 54).

Looks fine to me Proportion wise, but since they lost the Raves all Bulleid Tenders look like they are made out of Lego and the builder ran out of bricks....

Raves are good and Bulleid tenders look better with them. Another reason for not rebuilding Mr. Bulleid's finest. :)

    70045-54 were paired with BR1D tenders. 71000 had the BR1E, later BR1J.

I think this is what we see :

34067 acquired it's tender from MN 35027 Port Line which ran with it til withdrawal to Woodhams (3130). A new 5500 gal 'hybrid' tank was then used on this chassis and gave a combination that I believe wasn't perfectly authentic from BR days.

The tank from 3130 was itself modified to 5100 gal to run on MN tender 3119's frames (Ex 35009 Shaw Saville at withdrawal), for 34039 Boscastle at Loughborough - and has since replaced with new.
