Enough to make the purists wince I know, but does anyone have details (running numbers, vehicle types etc) of the Pilkington railtour set of the (I think) early 90s? Also if anyone has photos/links they would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I had forgoten all about this rather colourfull rake! I dunno about it making the purists wince, they are not preserved coaches, they were still in capital stock, and it was no worse livery than some of the post privatisation coaches trashing round the network today. How many of those coaches still survive?

    Hello,
These are owned by WCR West Coast Railways, a few are in use in the West Highland steam sets, at least one somewhere at Carnforth awaiting reuse and one SK had the insides from an accident damaged TSO some years back. Some of the ETH wires from the TSO went under my saloon.
    Bye,
    Malcolm Humphries.
