This vehicle, spotted at Bodnant garden centre, appears to have come from a flangeway and to be of some antiquity. It does not appear to be on the Preserved Railway Stocklist website. Does anybody here know anything of its history?

Looks like the ones that worked at the various slate quarries in the Dee Valley (and presumably elsewhere).

Did you enquire at the garden centre?

The staff didn't know anything about it. It was displayed alongside various bits of old gardening equipment, and that was what they had assumed it was.
