I've read on several websites that an allocation of WD 2-10-0s were at March during wartime. Just wondered if these would have ventured on to Norfolk and Suffolk lines during that period? Or would they have been prone to the same problems that would later prevent 9Fs from working on former GER routes?

I realise that the 25 BR examples were mainly used in Scotland, but ever since 90775 arrived on the NNR I have always wondered if any examples were seen in East Anglia during the war.

(I presume one of the reasons 90775 was acquired by the M&GN Society was it's similarity to the WD 2-8-0s that were common in East Anglia in post war years).
