    Maybe so,

But even opinions of people and or persons, Seems to fall foul of that.

So its back to guessing games,
incase someone or some group of people get offended at getting called out.

Sorry to say that once again, a personal comment - now about WSSRT candidates - and replies that relate to it, have been removed.

Please don't waste your time posting on here if you can't follow Forum Rules. The posts will be removed and so will you.

ah so now we are on page 1666 , the great plague subsides and London is destroyed in a great fire . Meanwhile on the WSR all is quiet . The fear though is that the butterfly coming out of its chrysalis for the santa trains will find Covid once again rampant and whatever mish mash of restrictions our elected numpties decide may or may not work . Dartmouth Steam Railway cancelled train of lights this week . It will be interesting to see if they are an outlier or the start of a flurry .The more cautious approach of the WSR and the perception that summer was too risky , it will be interesting to see where the thought process goes

Since I seemed to have caused upset already amongst the WSR Die hards , just to clarify elected numpties refers to those in Westminster as opposed to any aspersions on elected or co-opted individuals in Somerset

Oh, @Sidmouth, will you ever learn?! ;)

If you say anything - and I mean ANYTHING - in this thread, it will be taken as a personal criticism or a challenge. I used the word "you" just then in a general sense but I'm sure to get threats of legal action ...

May I suggest the use of the generic word "one" instead of "you", so as to avoid any perception that a comment is directed at a particular individual....although there will always be a "one" who takes offence.

Seems like some people somewhere are a bit oversensitive about some things.... Mind you, if the cap fits...... ;)

But using numbers immediately links you to specific groups on the WSR who no longer have names but numbers. You know: the Magnificent 10, and the 6 Musketeers.

Come on you lot, chop chop - having had a nice photo of Kirtley R class 1664, I don't have another one until 1672 ... (I'll look back in this afternoon; should be there by then).

C&NW late E Class built by Alco 1921 - many of these types, which had variations, were built.

A Pennsy B6 0-6-0 switcher. Known as 'shifter' or 'yard goat'. The slope back tender gave good vision when in reverse, which of course the loco spent much of in its life.
