That we have to be able to maintain and operate whatever section of the line is open and we would rather offer a quality service with clean well maintained trains than a longer poorly maintained line. I would also point out that a shorter line...

Of course what is really needed are more volunteers to keep the already open sections running and restore and maintain the current operating fleet. Only then might we have resources to spare to seriously look at extending the line.
