    Really hope this s snothing serious. It's been doing good work the past summer when almost all other big steam (GWR excluded) has failed. Especially as the Black Duchess is due out of service soon

    I think and I quite happily stand to be corrected but Steve Underhill of TYS is one of their engineering managers, so it is easier for him to attend to it at TYS

    We are very fortunate in this country that we have a number of excellent locomotive facilities whether it be TYS, Bridgnorth, LNWR , Riley & Son , Pridhams/SDR

    Quite correct

    Steve has joined 6201 and is very well thought of - so it makes a good deal of sense for work that he wants to see done to be under his direct supervision.

    With many of us celebrating this weekends run with 6201, her crew, the great people in Tyseley, Vintage Trains, WCRC and Network Rail, I thought that I would bring the orignal 6201 thread up to the top of the page. I went searching it through the search engine a week or two ago and now I think is the right time!

    It is a great thing that she moved from Crewwe to Tyseley for after August of last year. Look at where she is Now!

    And Yes disregard the Re: 71000 going to crewe part at the top.
