Does anyone know when this unit runs in service, is there a set diagram for it's Aylesbury shuttle service or is just whatever / whenever ?

 

early morning and late afternoon services to/from Princess Risborough.

 

It usually operates from about 7.30 to 10.00 in the morning and 3.30 and 7.00 in the evening weekdays only. Its often left at the end of the platform in Aylesbury during the day. The use is however somewhat erratic. I would say at least one day a week on average it is not used. I'm not sure if this is due to unreliability but I do know that the number of qualified staff to operate the train is very limited.
If you do not know Aylesbury you may not know that there are several other 121's stabled at Aylesbury for departmental use. They are stabled in the back platform and are easily visible from the station and the station car park.
