fully booked trains

This is a good topic. It is really is good to hear that several trips have already been filled to maximum capacity. The Cumbrian with the two black five's and 2 of the February Cumbrian. Vintage Trains March 10th doubleheader is sold out too.

If anyone knows of other trips that are fully booked post it here.

 

Steam Dreams trip on March 10th with 60163 and 71000 to Plymouth looks full.

 

We have had the tour program out for only a few days. Our trip over the Devon Banks on 28 April is well on its way to being a sellout – but we are only taking 6 (maybe 7) passenger coaches.

 

RPSI 2 day tour Dublin to Wexford etc with 461 in late March is sold out.......(.but more tickets may be released)

 

£60 for two days eh Ray - when could you last do that here?

 

Yes ! I confess I rushed my cheque off as 461 is " required" as well as Howth with steam. The very low fares via Fishguard to Dawlish means an Irish "mini-bash" at relatively low cost. I notice Irish trips are well advertised + forum members who haven't tried RPSI might try. The experience feels different not least the wider carriages. Some RPSI Dublin - Belfast "positioning" runs can be exceptional value with good running at low cost.....!
I am lookng forward to marking offf lots of new track at a bargain price !!

RPSI have had some difficult challenges + "fully booked" tours will assist....

 

What's the total load going to be?

The 4 RTC winter CME s are "fully booked" bar a few odd seats. Space available on the extra in late March.

Just back from Portugal to catch up on doomed narrow gauge - foolishly left booking RPSI tour to Rosslare till I got back - now hoping for the best that an extra coach or two can be found!

 

Is 11 February also fully booked - I tried to book standard for 1, but after filling in all details couldn't get any further to the card details.

Not doing too well today!

 

according to the a1steam FB page, the plymouth tour is now sold out. And yet some people on here said it would be boring? :rofl:

Last year's Weymouth Seaside Express's were all fully booked last year. I wonder if the same thing will happen this year?

It looks as if extra coaches have been found for the RPSI trip on 24/25 March to Rosslare and Wexford as I've just received confirmation of my booking; thought I'd missed out on that. There may still be some seats available.

 

Space is indeed still available for the RPSI 'Spare Link' railtour on the 24th/25th March. Although demand is very high bookings are still being accepted. This is going to be a very enjoyable weekend with 2-6-0 461 returning to Wexford after a 10 year overhaul, and also steam for the first time in over thirty years to Howth. Make sure and get the booking in to avoid the last of the seats....

Space is indeed available for the RPSI Spare link railtour (March 24th/25th). Although very popular, it is still possible to book this one.

 

We just decided to add a third TSO to The Cornishman on April 28th - so we have an additional 64...62...58 seats available. This brings the total load to 9 coaches including support, buffet, etc.

Yes - I just took 6 bookings while trying to type this!

 

The RPSI tour to Clare in May is selling well - only 20 places left. It looks a good 'un; would go but for prior commitment. This must be good news, bearing in mind the difficult economic situation.

 

Apparently, 6233 April 21 trip to Scarborough only has tables of 4 in Premier Dining and only standard seats in the Buffet Car available.
