    Hi,

My locomotives database includes details of 8 locos at Prestongrange but most of these records have not been updated since 2011. Since there is no public access to the buildings where they are stored (The Prestongrange website states "There are trains and locomotives at Prestongrange and they looked after by the Prestongrange Railway Society. However, they are not on display or accessible to the public.") I am wondering if anyone on here is able to provide any updates for these (or any other locos elsewhere).

The database is at http://www.heritage-railways.com/locosdb/locos.php and if you search for location 'prestongrange' you will see the details I currently have.

Apologies if this is not the best place for this query, but there didn't seem to be an obvious forum section for this.

The UKLocos database is normally a good place to check as it is regularly updated with sightings. Unfortunately the ones at Prestongrange have also not been updated since 2011.

http://www.uklocos.com/first-search.asp (Search for 'East Lothian' as the location)

Any news on this. As I believe a few locos have moved on from here. Plus seen a photo of three little Ruston 48.

The Barclay No.29 Ex-Frances colliery has moved to Shed 47 in Lathalmond (North Dunfermline) for restoration. While Barclay No.6 still resides at Bo'ness.

I don't know their plans to be honest, the only info I have to go on is the of the parties that have been working with them. They seem to be a bit of a secluded bunch and not a lot of gusto for restoration at the moment. They have a couple of items I'm interested in and wouldn't mind popping over to visit at some point, but their railway assets are not available for public viewing.
