    A ship thats often forgotten - she's no spring chicken and an important part of the Bristol Channel Scene. Usually on the Lundy run from Lifracombe and Bideford she does occasionally stray from home . . . and for the first time in a few years she's coming brown water cruising (well of sorts!).

    The MS Oldenburg will be making a rare and scenic cruise to Gloucester on Thursday 29 October between 11.30am and 5.30pm and sailing to Sharpness on Sunday 1 November between 12.30pm and 4.30pm. For tickets and further information please contact the Lundy Booking office on 01271 863636.

    I wouldn't leave it too long to book . . . she always sells out !

    I'm on her for the 29th and will photograph her along the canal on the Sunday . . . if I'm feeling fit I may even Cycle the canel length!
