    Having followed many links from this site to you tube to see footage of gala's and tours one thing tends to stand out , wobbly footage , you know that bouncy sort from trying to hand hold and being convinced that you can hold the camera absolutely steady

    The best investment you can make is a tripod , doesn't have to be expensive , just a good solid one and bing nice steady video's

    Couldn't agree more, I sometimes comment on the bouncy unedited ones on Youtube, and you would not believe the abuse I get for daring to criticise. :censored:

    If you are looking for a tripod, as Sidmouth says make sure it is a solid one and meant for video, and with a fluid head.
    Don't skimp, get the best you can afford and if you can't afford the best, save yer money until you can!

    If you really do have do it hand held then keep the camera on the wide-angle setting (preferably with an adapter lens to make it even wider).
