I think you're going to have to be a bit more specific :)

A book that maybe BR apprentices might have been given. For example gedge slots, wheel profiles etc.

Many many years ago some friends and I were present at a talk by someone from BR's research deparment at Derby, who at that time were doing some very significant work on the dynamics of rail vehicles. The one fact that we reminded each other about ever afterwards was that a 4-wheel wagon has seventeen degrees of freedom. Just think about how that extrapolates to a coach with two 4-wheel bogies.

If you can find a copy, I believe this covers a lot of wagon stuff.

Have a look at barrowmoremrg.co.uk. Website . I’m struggling to post a direct link on my phone but you’ll find this document and a lot more useful information on this site.

There is some stuff you can easily find online e.g. try searching "dynamics of railway freight vehicles" or "wheel rail interface". Depends what you want I guess.

There's several BR TSU documents, that were issued to apprentices and fitters back in the day.

See attached for an example, there are thousands.

If you have anymore manuals, especially to do with wagons and plant machinery, we would be interested.
