    Hi everyone, Im planning on modelling the derwent valley light railway on a 8 ft board split in two, has anyone got a track plan of the railway, i know butid like to see where the station is, crossing and bypass bridge are along the line.

    I assume you are looking at the remnants of the line as they are preserved today 0n the Yorkshire Museum of Farming site at Murton Park?
    If so, then the Explorer 290 1:25000 scale map will give you a rough idea.
    A look at http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/SE6452 has a few pictures of the site and you can also access 1:10,000 scale maps and Google Maps from it, giving you a closer view of things.

    The public library in York will have old 1:2500 OS sheets (and possibly 1:1250s) which will give you what you need.

    On google maps and Bing it's the location is 53.9629038,-1.0103176
    Bing's Birds Eye view mode is better than google maps for a lot of places as it gives a 3 quarter view, and you can rotate your orientation.
