I have just finished a book about a signaller on the carlisle to settle line. It is called pennine poacher, and its about a signalman by the name of richard fawcett, and his poaching exploits on the railway with his railway mates, it is a really good book and i'm sorry its finished, has anyone else got knowledge of any other literature about this man? is he still alive?

Also a good read - as is virtually any literature about the Settle and Carlisle line.
