4 or 5 possibly in the not too distant future depending what state 35027 is in and whether it stays at Bury or goes to Crewe and when 35005 is ready.

she isnt expected to be out for very long either, i believe, so hopefuly in 2017 there is very chance of 35018 and 35028 sitting side by side on the stops at Waterloo having worked in with tours down the SW main line. :)

Does anyone know how long 35028 is expected out of traffic for her Overhaul?? Also I see that on the 29th April 35018 has been scheduled in for a railtour with 34067. Does anyone have any photos or updates with regards to the Restoration? All seems to be hush hush!

Now that is something I would skive off work to see!
Do many tours go into Waterloo? Most go into Victoria don't they?

35028 has just had a starring role in The Wonder of Britain on ITV 1. She was captured working on the MHR. It's worth a watch on ITV + 1 or the ITV player.

Quite a lot of the work will be contracted out, according to the MNLPS magazine , so it partly depends on timing by others. But, about a year has been mentioned.

If anybody was wondering whether 34027 will be going back onto the mainline once complete in May time.

The support coach owned and used by TV is now on its way to Carnforth after being sold on.
On a positive note. She should be having her steam tests this week.

Does the owner not have support coach in use for D1015?

Is it not D1062 that Mr Swallow owns, not main line registered either?

D1015 is owned by the Diesel Traction Group of which Mr Swallow is a share holder AFIW D1015 dosn't have a support coach in the same sense that a steam loco has one. D1062 is owned by The Western Loco Association. Easy to get confused when both are big, red and soon both will be going mainline.

Is there a date on CanPac then? In other news the loco department on the GWSR had an MIC on MNs, including how to fire and drive them and prep them, can't be long now then!

Strong hints on the latest MHR shed blog that 34051 Winston Churchill has been moved into the fresh air. I'd expect to see the official pictures quite soon. I wonder if they'll spruce up 34007 and pose them side-by-side, or maybe a line-up with Ropley's other NRM locos?

I believe that the various road movements associated with this have been delayed.
