    Hello Folks,

Does anyone know the current status/owenership of the old RAF Chilmark site, especially the ex-railway sheds etc?

    Thanks

    Chris

When Chilmark and Baverstock depots were closed in the 1990's they were due to be sold off for industrial use.
There was a quarry within RAF Chilmark extracting stone for restoration work on Salisbury cathedral.
At some point in the 1990's a number of "preserved" TC coaches were stored at Baverstock, some of which ended up used by LUL.

From what I can gather from briefly visiting the site a large part seems to be unoccupied, specifically the bit south of Chicksgrove Wood near the railway line...that was back in 2011 though
